Upstate Volleyball Club to Begin Operations in Former Oconee Rush Facility

May 5, 2025 – Upstate South Carolina – Upstate Volleyball Club is excited to announce it will begin operating in the primary facility previously used by Oconee Rush Volleyball Club, following Oconee Rush’s recent decision to conclude their club operations.

Upstate Volleyball and Oconee Rush have maintained a strong working relationship over the years, built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to developing young athletes through high-quality coaching and a positive club experience. With Oconee Rush stepping away from club operations, both organizations felt that continuing volleyball opportunities in the Oconee community was essential.

“This move is about more than just utilizing a space—it’s about continuing to serve the athletes and families in this area with the same care and integrity they’ve come to expect,” said Amber Wiles Director of Upstate Volleyball Club. “We’re grateful for the trust placed in us and are committed to honoring the culture and values that have been built there.”

This change will allow players in the region continued access to training, competition, and a club environment that emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and community.

In addition to this new location, Upstate Volleyball Club will continue operating out of its two existing facilities, ensuring that athletes across the Upstate region have access to a consistent and supportive club volleyball experience.

This expansion allows players in the region continued access to training, competition, and a club environment that emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and community.
